Leap Junction is proud to present the return of our annual entrepreneurial exhibition event, this year with a new name: The Founders' Fair!
This is an opportunity to meet and engage with an incredible group of entrepreneurs who have started or grown their businesses through our leapIN Business Accelerator Program and Fanshawe College over the years.
Featuring a pop-up market, carnival-style games, the Falcon Hot Wing Challenge, free food, and live music, it’s guaranteed to be a great way to celebrate our return to campus.

The "Falcon hot" wing challenge

Entrepreneurship is full of challenges - this one just happens to be spicy!
We are looking for up to 8 BRAVE participants who think they can handle the heat for a chance to win cash and prizes in our Demo Day "Falcon Hot" Wing Challenge.
We have partnered with Jesse Long from The Hot Sauce Co. a Fanshawe College grad and celebrated participant in our 2020 leapIN Business Accelerator, to make this challenge possible. Jesse will be bringing you a range of locally produced, vegan, and gluten-free hot sauce flavours that are guaranteed to make you sweat.

Contest Format:

Contestants will go head-to-head for 5 heated rounds that will gradually increase in intensity.

Each round will consist of 2 to 3 chicken wings or cauliflower bites (you choose when you register - no switching).

The participant to beat the heat and make it the farthest will win a large prize pack and cash (we will also have smaller prize packs and cash for our second and third-place participants).

Now of course there can only be one Hot Wing Challenge Champion so, if multiple participants still remain after five rounds, additional rounds will be added with extra heat and intensity.
