About the Event
Fanshawe College’s Remotely Piloted Aerial Systems (RPAS) program equips students with hands-on drone training and advanced data processing skills, preparing them for in-demand careers across industries such as filmmaking, agriculture, engineering, construction, municipal maintenance, and public safety. With real-world applications and groundbreaking projects, drones and the data they collect are driving innovation and creating a competitive edge in a rapidly evolving world.

Adam Debevc's Bio

Adam Debevc has been passionate about Aviation & Aerospace for as long as he can remember and has worked in the Commercial Remotely Piloted Aerial Systems (RPAS) Industry since 2015. He is an RPAS Pilot, Transport Canada Advanced Operator, Transport Canada Flight Reviewer, and ISED Canada Certified ROC-A (Aeronautical) Examiner.
Currently, Adam is a Faculty Member and Program Coordinator at Fanshawe College, where he leads the Remotely Piloted Aerial Systems (RPAS) Commercial Operations Graduate Certificate Program. His work includes curriculum development, teaching, and research; focusing on equipping students with the skills to design, support, operate, market, and maintain drone systems.
Beyond academics, Adam is an author that actively contributes to the advancement of RPAS technology and industry collaboration, fostering connections between professionals, researchers, and educators to push the industry forward.
As an entrepreneur, Adam co-founded Aerial Scout Inc., a commercial RPAS service provider specializing in municipal government data collection.
